It's smokey with some oak and something sweet. I bought it St. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Malo</span> and spent 25 <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Euros</span> for this. The flavor is PEAT and a smooth/smokey portion and then some fire deep down in your gut. Adding water helps reduce the smoke and peat flavor. I got this Scotch as a recommendation from my cousin. This Scotch has more fire in it than I would have thought and Phil thinks this as well. With out water the Scotch is smooth with a slight sweetness and ends with some fire in your belly. This 30 year old Scotch is good. When we added water it definitely opens up this Scotch. It opens up the sweetness of maybe honey in the flavor. The nose on it is not as AC <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">vaporish</span> as a result of the water. It's got some fire to it that is for sure. it would be good to drink on a cold winters day. Adding a splash water opened up the nose on and flavor and nuetralize the AC vapor which allowed the flavor to come through. After adding the water I can tell there is a charcoal flavor that i can only say is Lowland.
