Knappogue is a decent Irish Whiskey. It's got alot of fire which requires some water to help develop the flavor. I spent 27 dollars (2007)

St George Whiskey
St George is a crazy Whiskey. It's distilled from a barley malt mash. Let me tell you it tastes like it! It's not to bad of a whiskey. I would recommend adding some water do to the fire effect of the AC. Let me tell you somethign else it tastes like it was made from Barley. Those of you that are beer drinkers and love beer should try this. I bought this at Big Red for 56 dollars (09).

Armorik Whisky
This was a surprise. A French Whisky that is peaty and smooth just like a Scotch Whiskey. This Whisky has some fire to it. My assistant has added some water and seems to be enjoying it more. i can see why. It allows the flavor to develop. It's smokey with some oak and something sweet. I bought it St. Malo and spent 25 Euros for this. Good luck trying to find it in the states.

Holy Peaty!!!! This is an awesome Islay. Very peaty. The nose will overwhelm you with the peaty goodness. The flavor is PEAT and a smooth/smokey portion and then some fire deep down in your gut. Adding water helps reduce the smoke and peat flavor. I got this Scotch as a recommendation from my cousin. I got it at Big Red for 90 dollars (2009).
Glenfiddich 30 year
This Scotch is the oldest scotch that I own. I got this Scotch on a cruise in the Carri bean. This Scotch has more fire in it than I would have thought and Phil thinks this as well. With out water the Scotch is smooth with a slight sweetness and ends with some fire in your belly. This 30 year old Scotch is good. When we added water it definitely opens up this Scotch. It opens up the sweetness of maybe honey in the flavor. The nose on it is not as AC vaporish as a result of the water. When I bought this Scotch it was 250 dollars on the cruise and in the states it was 400 dollars
Glenkinchie 10 year
The Lowland Scotch that I've to date (05-23-09). It's got some fire to it that is for sure. it would be good to drink on a cold winters day. Adding a splash water opened up the nose on and flavor and nuetralize the AC vapor which allowed the flavor to come through. After adding the water I can tell there is a charcoal flavor that i can only say is Lowland. Phil isn't sure what to make of the flavor.

Ardbeg 10 year Islay Scotch
If you like the peatness of a bog you'll love this stuff. Peaty as hell and smooth as a babies bottom.
When i tasted it with my assistant Phil we discovered that it does it has a Earthy taste along with an iodine after taste. This bottle was given to me as a gift from my father in-law so im not sure about the cost.
